the instructor“In 2015 an old friend let me try his skates and next week I
bought a pair.
I always wanted to learn and felt it was always just a dream. But when I bought my own pair and started practising I realized it was possible.
I started skating while working long shifts as a chef in members clubs and the only time I could practice skating was after work, going railing to railing just about making it home. Everyday getting better and more confident.
I’m largely self-taught but I have learnt so much along the way from good friends and acquaintances, through our shared passion of skating.
This journey really is your own but you can learn so much from others. Every time I put them on I’m still learning new things.
If my story means anything it shows that anyone can learn, anyone can start, and fulfil that dream which is SKATING.
Skating is an extension of your body and is all about expression.
Everyone has their own style and together we can find yours.”

I always try to capture the fresh, full of energy and contagious fun moments we have during our sessions and street skates in the photos and videos.
For me skating is experiencing the city in a fast but also deeper way.
For the design of the website and media aesthetics I emphasize the importance of the street, the roads, the city, and mostly the friendship that skating builds. The smiles.
And “beyond all that, friendship exists, love exists.”
